General Practitioner

Waitara, Taranaki, Full-time

Waitara Health Centre is looking for a dedicated GP to become an integral part of our supportive and friendly team.

We're a well-established practice with a loyal and long-standing patient population. Our mission is to improve how we serve our community, and we're exploring innovative care models to achieve this. We want to reduce clinical admin tasks, empower staff and bring work-life balance back to primary care.

About the Position

Ideally, you'll be looking to work 8 sessions per week and are keen to build a patient base with strong relationships as part of our team. We can offer you great support in your role and a competitive remuneration package, including benefits such as support for continuing medical education and assistance with your APC and indemnity insurance.

Parklands Medical boasts a purpose-built theatre, so we are eager to talk to GPs interested in minor surgery.

You’ll need to have:

+ MCNZ Registration
+ Received or be working towards vocational registration in general practice
+ Excellent clinical and communication skills
+ Professionalism, sensitivity, respect, and confidentiality
+ Be confident in supporting a variety of ethnicities and cultures
